"An Introduction to David Lynch" is a featurette originally released in the 2001 DVD release, Twin Peaks: The First Season. It features interviews with Catherine E. Coulson, Charles Ramirez-Borg, Lesli Linka Glatter, Miguel Ferrer, Michael J. Anderson, Kyle MacLachlan, Duwayne Dunham, Sheryl Lee, Peggy Lipton, and Richard Beymer, each discussing the filmmaking processes and methods of Twin Peaks co-creator David Lynch.

The film explores the link between our treatment of animals and emerging health threats such as pandemics and antibiotic resistance. It specifically looks at zoonotic diseases—germs and viruses that spread between human and non-human animals—which threaten the health and lives of the entire human population.

A young desperate girl goes in to an old apothecary in search of a solution to what she considers to be her stupid laugh. The cure is presented by the mysterious woman behind the counter in the form of five small bottles, each one containing a new laugh. "Try each one and keep whichever you prefer - forever." the girl is told. On a succession of dates the girl tries out each laugh but her potential suitors are unimpressed. After reaching a state of despair she finds herself on the fifth date in tracksuit bottoms and hooded top with no make-up on her tear streaked face, having rushed out of the house and forgotten to take the final laugh!

Master of Study is about a determined lawyer who takes up a teaching position at a failing high school. To save the school from the ax, he comes up with the unconventional plan of starting a special class curriculum devoted to getting the school's five worst students into the country's top university.

Chae-yeon, who has never been in a relationship, secretly has a crush on Nam-gyoo, the president of her company, and practices kissing in front of the mirror every day. One day, Chae-yeon musters up her courage and asks Nam-gyoo to kiss her, but Nam-gyoo avoids her, promising her next time. But in fact, Nam-gyoo has never kissed properly before, so he goes to take kissing lessons to fulfill Chae-yeon's request.

A man becomes haunted by his past and is presented with a mysterious legacy that causes him to re-think his current situation in life.

Both a journalist and a documentary filmmaker chase the story of a murder and its prime suspect.

Yong-min was a playboy who was loved by every woman. He had a woman named Tae-yeon whom he loved. However she breaks up with him due to his playboy habits and there is a rough quarrel in the process which leaves Yong-min blind. He meets and marries a woman named Soo-ae but he's lost all sexual desires along with his sight so it's hard to maintain a good marriage with her. Then one day Ho-yeong and Soo-jeong move in next to them and Soo-ae feels a kind of adoration for Ho-yeong...

Convention and sexuality are explored through slugs, rituals, and the eating of an orange.
